FAQs
What happens in our first session?
We get to work! If you’ve made it as far as booking time with me, then I know you are serious about making changes. You must come with at least one goal in mind. Showing up with “I don’t know” is you not valuing yourself and the changes you want to make in your life. Some clients work on one goal over six months, and others work on 12 goals in six months; the key is to have something in mind. Your goals will change and evolve.
Coaching is an investment, and I want you to invest your money wisely.
Why don’t you offer free consultations?
I offer a few one-time session options which you can view as a consultation. I believe in you, and if you want to make changes in your life, you will do what you need to do to make it happen (whether with me or someone else). People pay attention to what they pay for. I value my time, expertise, and the needs of my existing individual and corporate clientele. Those serious about making changes in their lives do not take shortcuts. I have a lot of resources, free videos, and content on various social media platforms. Start there if you need to.
Do you have payment plans? Money is tight.
I have payment plan options for my monthly subscription and larger package options. Payment plans will cost you more than the pay-in-full price. Here’s the thing, if money’s tight, don’t sign up for my coaching. While I firmly believe in investing in coaching and other activities to better ourselves, if you feel the money will be a distraction, look for other coaches or wait until you are financially better.
For those committing to coaching packages or the subscription plan, I have a money-back policy if you decide our coaching relationship is not the right fit. Refunds, scheduling, and all other policies are in my contract.
What is the ELI Assessment?
I require all my clients to take the ELI Assessment, and the fee is included in your package price. The ELI debrief is one of your sessions, and you will be in awe of what comes out of our time together. This assessment is unlike other assessments you may have taken personally or professionally. This is an attitudinal assessment, and it will tell us a lot about your energy, how you are showing up in life, how you respond to stress and where you are thriving. We will learn a lot from the assessment, and it can give us a jumping-off point to hone in on your goals.
What if I need more coaching?
We will discuss your progress regularly and see what additional time and coaching you may need as you go through this journey. This is not a race, and much of your work may need some time. My goal is to get you to a place where you have the tools and feel equipped to handle many of life’s different situations. As much as we may love our time together, I want you to be out there using what you learn and applying it on your own.
What if I need support between sessions?
As a coach, I want you to be able to access me between sessions. You receive unlimited text/email support and an accountability partner as part of your coaching package.
Do you guarantee this journey will work?
That all depends on you! Coaching only works if you are sincere and committed to doing the work. Making changes in our lives, re-writing rules, being accountable and becoming who we are meant to all take work. As a coach, I will push you, and there are no shortcuts. You are not in the right place if you want someone who will listen to excuses. Here’s my question: Are you deciding to make changes, or are you trying until it gets too hard?
What’s the difference between a coach and a therapist?
Coaching will address patterns, beliefs, or rules interfering with your ability to make meaningful, long-term changes in your life. Coaching is about looking forward and empowering you to live the life you want. While therapists also do this, coaching will not be diving into your past. I am not a mental health professional. Past traumas that need to be addressed, dysfunction in your ability to manage day-to-day, and other serious issues are best in the hands of a licensed therapist who specializes in your area of need.
